A place for the global scientific community to meet.
Every year, the Academy's conference rooms are the setting for numerous one-day or multiple-day conferences and symposiums attended by Dutch and foreign scientists.

The Academy has a large, modern conference hall, a restaurant, a reception or function area with a view of the garden, and seven meeting rooms in the 17th-century Trippenhuis building, all of which are available for scientific or cultural gatherings, whether or not organised by the Academy or its institutes.

Catering

The Academy has an experienced catering staff who will do an excellent job planning your reception, lunch, meeting, symposium or any other event. The arrangements will be tailored entirely to your wishes and needs.
Large receptions and lunches are held in the Winter Garden, which looks out on the impressive back wall of the Trippenhuis building and the lovely garden. The garden is open to guests in the summer.

Audio-visual equipment

The Academy charges for the use of audio-visual equipment, with the exception of the equipment located in the Tinbergen Room and the Old Meeting Room.

Rates

The meetings must be scientific, scholarly or cultural in nature and must not conflict with the objectives of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences.
