The Gilles Holst Fund medal is awarded in the field of applied chemistry and physics.
Every four years, the Gilles Holst Fund awards a medal to a Dutch scientist who preferably works at the interface between chemistry and physics. The award was established 10 November 1939 to mark Gilles Holst’s 25th anniversary at NV Philips.
