The J. Gonda Fund Foundation supports the scholarly study of Sanskrit, other Indian languages and literature, and Indian cultural history.

The Academy makes travel or accommodation grants available to researchers who wish to pay a short (one or two week) visit to an institution in another country before commencing a joint project or partnership. This program will be ended as of 2013 (application must be received before 1 October 2012).
