The Ter Meulen Fund (TMF) promotes medical, biochemical and biological research in the field of paediatric medicine. It awards stipends and grants to researchers working at a Dutch university or institute who wish to conduct research abroad. The aim is to gain knowledge that can then be applied in the Netherlands.
The Van ’t Hoff Fund promotes research in chemistry.
The Van der Gaag Foundation promotes outstanding and socially relevant research on the biological, psychological and social determinants of human behaviour. The purpose of the research must be to improve interpersonal relationships and human behaviour.
The Van Leersum Fund supports neuro(bio)logical, radiological and pharmaceutical research by awarding a series of research grants.
The Van Walree Fund promotes medical research. It does this by funding medical students who wish to attend foreign conferences.
The Visiting Professors Programme enables outstanding foreign researchers to spend time working in the Netherlands. The programme acts as an incentive for Dutch science and scholarship.
