The Schure-Beijerinck-Popping Fund supports ecological (especially aquatic) research, in particular in the field.

Funding is intended primarily for fundamental research. Projects seeking a fundamental solution to practical problems are also eligible.

The Schure-Beijerinck-Popping Fund was established in 1965. Its assets consist of the estates of Ms G. Beijerinck-Popping and Ms P.S.J. Schure.

What does it cover?

The Schure-Beijerinck-Popping Fund grant scheme will be revised as of 2014. The Academy will publish the new grant scheme on this website in due course.
