European Academies Science Advisory Council (EASAC)

The European Academies Science Advisory Council (EASAC) is an alliance between the national academies of EU member states. Its members work together to provide independent, evidence-based advice to European policy-makers on a wide range of science-related topics. EASAC thus ensures that science plays a greater role in EU policy-making.

  1. Climate change and infectious diseases in Europe
  2. Transforming Europe’s Electricity Supply
  3. Drug resistant tuberculosis
  4. Ecosystems services and biodiversity in Europe
  5. Concentrating solar power: its potential contribution to a sustainable energy future
  6. European public health and innovation policy for infectious disease: the view from EASAC
  7. Direct-to-consumer genetic testing for health-related purposes in the European Union
