This week saw the launch of Cergentis, a spin-off of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences and the Hubrecht Institute, one of the Academy’s research institutes. The company has developed a revolutionary technique for genetic analyses that promises to make an important contribution to genetic diagnostics and personalised medicine.
