Aira Laitinen was trained as a
translator at the Language Institute of Savonlinna (in English, Swedish
and German). She worked as a picture researcher , archivist and sales
representative, for the Picture Agency Lehtikuva Oy (1973 – 1985)
and now is Chief Librarian and Head of the picture archive in the same
company.
