The Visiting Professors Programme enables outstanding foreign researchers to spend time working in the Netherlands. The programme acts as an incentive for Dutch science and scholarship.

What does it cover?
The Academy funds a research budget and covers the Visiting Professor’s travel and accommodation expenses. The Dutch university acts as the host organisation.
Who is it for?
Foreign researchers (top of research field and promising level)
How to apply?
Applications for funding are accepted from members of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences, researchers at Academy institutes, members of the Academy’s De Jonge Akademie (Young Academy) and Academy Professors.
Deadline for submission of nominations is 2 November 2015.
