|Aim of programme||
CEP aims to foster long-term research collaboration between the Netherlands and China by providing seed money for new cooperation. The programme supports the exchanges of junior researchers, short-term joint research projects, and a yearly themed summer school in all fields of science.
What can you apply for?
Grants for individual junior researchers who wish to conduct research or education to enrich their ongoing research project and to establish new connections.

Who can apply?
A Dutch university or other publicly financed scientific research institute in the Netherlands represented by a junior researcher with the Dutch nationality. The Chinese host institute should resort under one of the three Chinese counterpart organizations (MoE, CAS, or CASS).
Chinese researchers affiliated to CAS and CASS wishing to visit the Netherlands can apply directly to the relevant Chinese counterpart organisation for an individual visit.
There is no more budget for applications concerning Chinese researchers affiliated to MoE. For this category the call is now closed.
How can you apply?
The call for applications for individual visits is closed.
The grant will be awarded after approval by both the KNAW and the relevant Chinese counterpart organisation. Activities may only commence after official approval.
