Tackle your inner critic

You’re smart and you’re good at your job. But there’s another side to you too, one that:

  • is secretly very critical of yourself and your work
  • makes you feel as if you’re on the verge of failure all the time
  • makes you doubt yourself a lot and/or
  • causes others to sometimes comment that you’re setting the bar too high.

Does all this sound familiar? You’re not the only one. Many people struggle with uncertainty, the imposter syndrome and/or a fierce inner critic, i.e. that little voice inside that scolds you or tells you that you’re never good enough.

All Academy staff


This course will teach you practical, evidence-based methods to help you to tackle your inner critic. You will gain self-confidence and learn to be kinder to yourself. Not only will this benefit you personally, but it will also help you to become more productive and to work with others more effectively.


  • Less stress and more self-confidence
  • You will know the basics of Rational Effectiveness Training, learn to practise self-compassion, and acquire tools used in positive psychology
  • You will have a personal toolbox of techniques that you know work for you
  • Your personal situation will be considered

  • Duration: Kick-off day 20 April 10.00 a.m. till 04.00 p.m.
  • Sessions on 29 April, 18 May en 1 June 9:30 a.m. till 12:00 p.m.
