This training programme will give you insights and practical tools to find more balance in academia.  We will dive deep into four important keys to finding balance:

  • Getting really clear on what matters to you, building a strong inner compass. Because you have so many demands pushing you and pulling you in different directions you need a strong inner compass. A compass that makes it crystal clear what you value in your life and what you should focus on and a compass that helps you set boundaries.
  • Managing your energy (not your time!). Consciously taking actions and steps that bring you energy, renew your energy and minimize energy drains.
  • Managing your attention.  Knowing how to focus your attention and your actions on what really matters to you. This involves making choices (day to day choices and big life choices) and saying no.
  • Building a daily selfcare routine. A selfcare routine that fits who you are and your busy life. Small changes in your routine that will have a big impact.

You will get new insights and lots of tools and practices that can help you feel more balanced. I know how busy you are, so you’ll learn tools & practices that take little time but have a big impact.

Since you don’t get more balanced by just more knowledge, you will be asked to reflect, practice and experiment between the workshops. This will take a maximum of 1 hour per week. You will also get additional support in the form of a 1-hour individual coaching session to dive deep into specific obstacles or questions you have around finding balance.
