Career tune-up workshop

In this workshop, you will learn to keep charge of your career, not because you are looking to leave the Academy right now, but to ensure that you enjoy your work today and in a few years’ time. The aim is to remain in control, so that you can look forward to an untroubled future.

In the rush and distractions of everyday life, it can be easy to lose sight of your talent development and ambitions. Where can you best seek new opportunities? How do you go about it? This course, which combines a workshop with personalised exercises and individual feedback, will help you update your working life. Armed with new insights, you’ll be better able to discuss how your career is unfolding.

The workshop will give you:

  • an understanding of what a career tune-up entails
  • an update on your progress, your talents and your desires
  • insight into how you can take charge, so that you enjoy your work now and in the future

Target group

For Academy staff who would like to remain in charge of their career and explore what they need to continue their personal development in their particular situation.

Programme

During the workshop, you’ll learn how to tune up your career. Armed with that knowledge, you’ll spend about two hours at home working through various exercises. You’ll discuss your results during a follow-up meeting between you and the trainer/coach (duration: approximately 45 minutes). This is a private meeting, so you will be able to speak freely in the knowledge that what you say will remain strictly confidential.

If you so desire, you can also schedule an individual coaching session lasting from 75 to 90 minutes. A separate application is unnecessary; you can make an appointment directly with the coaching firm. These sessions are also strictly confidential. Your employer will not be told that you are receiving individual coaching, nor receive any information about the content of these sessions. That allows you to explore in-depth any issues preoccupying you about your work and your future.
