Academy Fund for Behavioural Research

The purpose of the Academy Fund for Behavioural Research is to promote outstanding behavioural research.

The Fund supports two grant programmes for young researchers (Sara van Dam Project Grants and Van der Gaag Grants).

Academy Sara van Dam Project Grants

The Academy Fund for Behavioural Research makes the Sara van Dam Project Grants available for research projects concerning the development of children growing up in the Netherlands or in Israel. Researchers who obtained their PhD no more than ten years previously are welcome to apply. Collaboration with a young researcher working at a research institute in Israel is preferable.

Academy Van der Gaag Grants

The Academy Fund for Behavioural Research makes the Academy Van der Gaag Grants available to promising young researchers who are studying the biological, psychological and social determinants of human behaviour. Researchers at a Dutch institute can apply for a grant to cover a research project abroad or a working visit to a foreign institution.
