Annemarie Mol is an anthropologist who studies every day, clinical and scientific practices related to the human body, for example healing, caring, eating and drinking. Her research combines insights gained in various disciplines, including anthropology, philosophy, medical sociology and the sociology of science, and she has succeeded in breaking down existing conceptual barriers.
