For the first time, the FMS Research Center is organising a course on Out-of-Equilibrium Systems, specially designed for PhD students in the Netherlands who are interested in the topic. The objective of the course is to strengthen knowledge of a basic understanding of the field of Out-of-Equilibrium and terminology used in connection with disciplines such as chemistry, engineering, biology, and mathematics.
The one-day masterclass is intended for 50 PhD students and post-docs. The masterclass will be the start of a national master course where all aspects of adaptive molecular systems and out-of-equilibrium systems will be discussed. Confirmed speakers are Annette Taylor and Rafal Klajn with follow-up days in 4 October (Radboud University, Nijmegen), 18 October (Eindhoven University of Technology) and 1 November 2016 (University of Groningen).
