During this Academy Colloquium internationally renowned experts will discuss their latest work on T-cell memory in tissues and bone marrow. With a Masterclass on Friday 30 November 2018.
There is an urgent need for a body-wide understanding of T-cell memory.
This Academy Colloquium will discuss the field of T-cell memory 'outside the blood', addressing the following key questions:
- How and where is immunological T-cell memory maintained?
- What are the molecular and dynamic properties of tissue-resident T cells?
- What is the role of the bone marrow in maintaining T-cell memory in the whole body?
- What are the implications of the regionalization of T-cell memory for vaccine design and cancer therapy?
