During this Academy Colloquium internationally renowned experts will discuss their latest work on T-cell memory in tissues and bone marrow. With a Masterclass on Friday 30 November 2018.

There is an urgent need for a body-wide understanding of T-cell memory.

This Academy Colloquium will discuss the field of T-cell memory 'outside the blood', addressing the following key questions:

  • How and where is immunological T-cell memory maintained?
  • What are the molecular and dynamic properties of tissue-resident T cells?
  • What is the role of the bone marrow in maintaining T-cell memory in the whole body?
  • What are the implications of the regionalization of T-cell memory for vaccine design and cancer therapy?

Participants will be selected on the basis of their submitted abstract and will be asked to present their work via a poster presentation. If you would like to participate in this Colloquium, please send the following documents to José Borghans, e-mail, until 1 June 2018:

  • an abstract (maximally 200 words)
  • a short description of your relevant work and motivation to participate (maximally 300 words)
