De European Academies Science Advisory Council (EASAC) is een samenwerking tussen de nationale academies van EU-lidstaten. De organisatie zet zich in voor een breed aanbod van onafhankelijk en betrouwbaar wetenschappelijk advies aan beleidsmakers in Europa. EASAC laat wetenschap op die manier een grotere rol spelen in de formulering van beleid op Europees niveau.
