    Christiaan Huygens Science Award

    The Christiaan Huygens Science Award is presented annually to a researcher whose doctoral dissertation has made an innovative contribution to one of the disciplines space sciences, mathematics or physics. In 2023 the award will be focusing on physics.

    The KNAW Van der Gaag Grant helps young behavioural researchers cover the cost of a research project or working visit abroad. A KNAW Van der Gaag Grant consists of a cash sum not exceeding EUR 10,000.

    Statesman Thorbecke Fund Programme

    The Statesman Thorbecke Fund Programme is for research projects that have a strong connection with the Dutch statesman Johan Rudolf Thorbecke. Preference is given to projects carried out by a postdoctoral researcher. A project may be awarded up to EUR 200,000 in funding.
